Workshop 1: Title IX legislation has expanded beyond sports equity to include sexual harassment, sexual assault and sexual violence as forms of sex (gender-based) discrimination. Learn your role as a TRIO professional in preventing various types of violence. The presenter will present an interactive workshop to raise awareness of Title IX situations and ways to react. Don’t stand by, stand-up and be prepared to act.
